ABOUT ME

I’m a photographer based in Toronto, focused on editorial portraits and visual storytelling. My interest in storytelling started early, growing up in Turkey where I was involved in programs supporting Syrian refugees. Listening to people my age share their experiences of displacement and survival shaped the way I see images — not just as visuals, but as something that can hold emotion, memory, and meaning. That perspective carried into my work as a journalist, and now into photography. My approach is simple: create images that feel intentional, human, and honest.
